On a hot summer day at a Vermont country fair, Timberwolf president Matt Timmins’s 8-year-old son Dan stopped at our booth. After watching the TimberOX Summit in action, he said:

“That’s a really cool splitter, but it needs a log lift!”

We’d heard similar requests from customers, but the Summit’s narrow frame—designed for easy shipping, storage, and maneuverability—made a traditional log lift impractical. Inspired by Dan’s candor, our team worked with Timberwolf’s engineers to design a center-mounted lift system that solved the challenge. By shifting the lift’s pivot point inward, we achieved the right balance for safely raising heavy logs.

The result: the Dan-D-Lift™, named in honor of Dan, and proudly made in the USA. This rugged, manual log lift attachment turns the TimberOX Summit into a safer, more efficient, and productive firewood splitter.
